Course Curriculum Overview
I chose a general course because I wanted to prepare for competitive exams. Course Curriculum is better than the CU syllabus. Faculty are highly knowledgeable and experts in the field. Faculty: Student Ratio is pretty good. Teaching includes presentation and a lot of interactive sessions. Exams are timely and smooth. Passing exams are easy for the most part. The only thing one must follow strictly the Attendance criteria.(60%)
Internships Opportunities
Internships are several. I cannot list all of them as it will be never-ending. It includes startups to MNCs. I am from Arts department. So my knowledge in this section is incomplete. But I am pretty much sure that a B.Com student will have no difficulty to land an internship or a placement.
Placement Experience
My employability plans include competition exams. But Xavier's provide a wide range of placements with a dedicated Placement Cell and a Placement Drive on campus each year. CTCs offered are high and in reputed companies. 90% students can get placement if they want to. Companies include Google, HCL etc
Fees and Financial Aid
Xavier's is full of lovely opportunities. Especially business development is heavily promoted. Fees is pretty affordable. In my last 3years college, fees has not been hiked a single time. Scholarships in different forms are available. Numerous Paid Internships and no shortage of Campus Jobs.
Campus Life
Annual Fest- Xavotsav (December to February) Library is World Class with thousands of books available and millions more in online form. Classrooms are clean and spacious. Includes Projector setup and speakers. In Xavier's campus, everyday there is some event or the other. Sports range from Dart Throwing to Cricket and Football. Co-curricular activities of all sorts are encouraged with their respective events.
Admission
Application to be found in the website. Usually before the declaration of board results. So regularly must check. Process is online and smooth. Reservation available for Christians. Mostly based on Merit. An application to a single course costs Rs.500 each.
