Likes
- Faculties. They are very good and student friendly.
- Sports. There are many sports are available in our college and the tournaments are also held in every year .
- Extra curricular activities. You can do many extra curricular activities other than studies like recitation, singing, tabla playing, guitar learning etc.
Dislikes
- The meal is not as much as expected nowadays. We expect more good meals
Course Curriculum Overview
All the facilities are very good , student friendly. All have done the master degree and some have completed the PhD also. 5-6 facilities are available for around 20 students for every course. There is a projector in every rooms . Professors also arrange seminars for atleast twice or thrice in a month. In every semester there is a midsem exam and then the final semester exam held. All the questions are standard in the semester exams. If a student attends regular classes and does practice then he will get success surely in the exams.
Internships Opportunities
As per the ugc new guidelines our college has told us that we can do our internships after the 6th semester in various companies or in other institutions for a month at least. And also the pass out students from the college get various types of job offer specially from the Statistics department.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are not very high. Total 4000? is required for a month. It includes both the hostel charge and the college charge. As I am not eligible for any scholarships except the Inspire scholarship but the other students who are eligible for the scholarships the always get their scholarship from the central or government. Also they can apply for the private scholarships. The poor students get concession also from the college.
Campus Life
Our college arranges various types of co-curricular activities like drama, recitation, singing, competition. Cricket, football, vollyball, badminton,table tenis tournaments are organised annually. And also the annual sports held every year. Students also play in other colleges, in state level competition and represent our college. Other than that many famous persons come to our college to entertain our boys.
Hostel Facilities
This is a residential college. So every students both the ug and pg students have to stay in the hostel campus. Minimum 4 students are there in a room and there is four hostel building for the ug and pg students . An another hostel building is there for the PhD students. So there is total 5 buildings. The meal is quite decent. Everyday we get non veg meal including fish,egg, chicken.
Admission
An admission test is organised every year for all the courses are available in the college. The application form is published online in college website. 3-4 seats are availed for the reservation among the 20-25 seats per honors subject .
