This is liked in this campus is football the sports faculty is very good in this college
The college campus is large and beautiful it has gym, swimming pool and other things.
The food given is very nutrious and the menu is changed everyday so it gives us a lot more appetite than usual

Dislikes

There are payers two times in a day which is difficult to attend all the time
The food is not tasty but somehow nutritious it is edible but the taste is not good all the time.
Getting out of the campus is very difficult for getting out of the campus we need to issue gatepass but we are not provided with it everyday.

This subject is great for attending the financial sector jobs this also is many scope for giving the competative exam upsc . This subject has a huge scope for job opportunities from different sectors and is best for competative exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is very simple we have to give a admission fees of 21000 and monthly 4000 which include all the expenses like staying in hostel and studies . At the end of each year we have to give an admission fees of 11000 which is less compared to the other colleges.

Campus Life

There is annual fest in this college but there are departmental fest . Students are not required to buy books as the library provides us with different kinds of books which are enough . The classrooms are very good and provides us with digital classroom which makes learning easier.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms are quite large and four people can stay there we given single bed for everyone and a cupboard .the foods are very nutrious and the meals keeps on changing everday . The food given 8s healthy and nutritious.

Hostel Fee: INR 38400 per year

Admission

We have to get 50 percentage in hs to be eligible to for filling up the admission form then we have to give admission test and in the admission test we have to 30 percent marks and if there is a reservation they will be eligible by a cut off of 20percent

For placement and internship we have CCD ( Career development center ) and it ensure that students are getting all the opportunities for interview with top companies like Microsoft, google, Goldman Sache amazon and so on. students can apply for internship in 5th semester and can sit for placement in their 8th semester, other than campus placement students can apply anywhere for off campus placement if they are meeting thier crieteria.

I choose my course that chemistry because of the fact that I had got the rank that came under it and another reason is chemistry department is quite old here even if kanpur chemistry department is better for core, you will get chance for non core too here. Life at IIT KGP

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in IIT KGP in comparison to other colleges. People are eligible to sit for placements in their fourth year can sit for placements through CDC. The placements are held in two phases. In session 24-25, we have seen 1000+ offers to students in first phase. After getting degree, I would also go for doing job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course for the first year is easy overall , maybe challenging for biology students because involvement of Maths in the curriculum but they can decrease their load by practicing Maths problems, asking doubts, approaching the instructors or their personal mentors. Otherwise the course is mixed in a good way with theoretical and practical part. Labs are conducted of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and CS in first year. You can choose CS as an minor in higher classes.

Placement Experience:

It's a research Institute so no one really thinks about placements but still there's a placement cell in college and it tries it's best get as many company as they can... Placements are decent in chemistry maths and biology

Placement Experience:

from 7th semester (for btech students), 9th semester (for dual degree students) students are eligible for campus placements. there are numerous companies which visit the campus...and generally nearly all students get placed during the placement season, but recently there has been recession and companies are not taking less number of the students than they usually do.

There a certain criteria to get admission to this college. 1)You must have a certain cut-off mark in your board exam(HS). If you have then you are eligible for the entrance test. 2) After clearing the test you will be qualified for admission here. Within a few months(2 or 3) after the board exam, the online form filled up for the admission test starts on the college's website.
