the course curriculum for pharmacy is according to the PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) and it is approved too. all the subjects semester wise are taught by highly qualified faculty, all of whom are doctorates in their field of study and have high experience in the teaching field. faculty is student friendly and teaching methods are interesting with visual examples. one gets hands on experience in the laboratories, performing experiments under the guidance of lab assistants and the teacher. two internal exams (both theory and practical) and one semester exam (theory and practical) are conducted every semester.

as b.pharm students we do not have any internships, but we do have to complete an industrial training program and an hospital training program as referred in the curriculum. both of these can be done through the college or one can choose to do it own their own.

students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester. companies like zifo r&d, cognizant, jeeva organics, accenture, cipla etc have visited. highest package offered is 5lpa and average is 2.5 to 3lpa.

course fees gets increased for every new batch. hostel fees have been constant for some time, but the mess fees too get increased keeping the general economy of the country in mind. there are no scholarships as per my view, i don't know anything about the other courses my university provides.

the annual fest of the pharmacy college is AMITY which is conducted every year in the month of february or march. the university also organizes a model uited nation which allows students of the university as well as from all over the state, and country to participate. books and journals are available in large amount in the library. classrooms have projectors and ACs. there's a basketball, tennis, badminton, volleyball court on campus and a cricket field just outside the campus boundaries. apart from that students can also take part in kabaddi and table tennis, etc. there's an art club, a music club, literary club, two photography clubs and a fashion club all led by students in guidnace with respective experienced faculties.

a room is either two, three or sometimes four bedded, depending on the size of the room. rooms are spacious and cleaned everyday. students are provided with a bed, table, chair and a cupboard each. bathrooms are common (not attached to each room). meal quality can be improved though menu is quite good. registration process for hostel can be done during admission in college, in person. if one is opting for a pg, there are many rooms available around the locality of the campus.

For the B.Pharm course one can take admission by appearing in the university entrance exam SAAT, or one can also aplly through their JEE main or OJEE rank. The SAAT application can be found in the university website. There was no application fee charged when i appeared for the exam and dates are announced phase wise, so a candidate can have opputunities to appear for the exam if he or she misses any previous exam.
