Remarks

I have filled application from of NL Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research from its website. After the result I got shortlisted for GDPI round and there was a smooth process. They have took my interview after which I got selected for GD round and after cracking GD round I got shortlisted for the course. I said there are no improvements that I want to see the admission process as it is very smooth and well managed.

Course Curriculum Overview

NL Dalmia colleges known for its PGDM courses and specially PGDM in course and here they are having a good placements opportunities for the PGDM courses. If I'm talking about faculties then each and every faculty is well Qualified and 70% of them are holding a PhD degree with them. The knowledge that they gave is very clear and also very practical. Talking about faculty to student ratio So they don't have any overstaffed Faculties. As we all know that it is a trimester based course and there are total six trimesters.

Class Size: 600Course Fees: INR 735000 per year

Placement Experience

Everyone is eligible for placements and average package of placement is from 10 lakhs to 12 lakhs and also there is hundred percent placements. The plans after getting degree is to work in corporate world for 2 to 3 years so that I can gain practical knowledge.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee for two years of PGDM course is 14,70,000 and here policy for the fee deposit is on yearly basis Where we can deposit lump sum or in two or three deposits. Also college provide scholarship To those students who tops in all trimester. College is also having tie-up with banks who are giving student loans.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very good and we will be gaining more knowledge as this college conduct many fest also many guest sessions in which all the guest are from the corporate world and our big names and also availability of books and generous library is very good and classrooms are also good and we are having different Committees which organise different events.

Interview Experience

Topics of GD when I have given was related to the crypto currencies related to the new technologies related to the current affairs. Also if I am talking about interview questions, then it will be on your resume basis or on your past experiences basis or on your current affair basis. The process of GDPI Is very smooth and I have prepared for this round in both technical way as well as normal way.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. Review of N.L Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research

I had applied for Welingkar,TISS, GIM. I could not attend the process for getting into it because of family issue and time goes the application for this colleges get closed and one option was remain so I applied and took the addmission into NL Dalmia. Yes I get rejection from TISS because I couldn't clear the cut off marks required for this college. Addmission Process For NL Dalmia :- Round 1 :- Group Discussion Filteration Round : Giving any random topic (Current Affairs related to market) (Around 7,8 student seat together for this round pannel is around 2) Round 2 :- Personal Interview :- Checking the Knowledge about the Bachelor Subject and If experience could ask the question relevant to it. Cutoff for getting into NL Dalmia is 85 Percentile or above in CMAT. To sum it up

Admission process was easy and eveything was conveyed via the website of the college which any one can refer. Eligibility of the course is through any one of the entrance tests with particular score in all of the tests respectively. As I submitted my scorecard of both CMAT and MAH-CET, with ~84%ile and ~96%ile respectively, I was shortlisted for the PI round, as the second stage for the final selection process. The details regarding application form, application fees, and all vital dates were available over the net. They have mentioned that the acceptance rate is 4%, which can be brought down, so that there can be some more good quality of students, undoubtedly it is alright now, but everyone wants to progress whether being an institute or any organisation for that matter, and hence just a suggestion for the same....Read More
