Course Curriculum Overview
Since NIET is an autonomous institution, the curriculum is designed keeping in mind the ease for students. You won't have any issue in passing the Exams, although scoring good marks is in your hands only. Faculties are Supportive and Well-trained.
Placement Experience
Well, The sole reason someone should consider NIET is placements. Not too high but NIET sure provides its students with placements. The average offer is 5-7 lpa. Highest package offered this. Year on-campus is 51.50lpa by Microsoft.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well, the fees is quite affordable,Tution fee is around 1.5 lakh per annum and if u take Hostel, You will be paying another 1-1.25 lakh. This might seem expensive to some but keeping in mind the placement opportunities it is good only
Campus Life
To be honest, College is strict about its rules and regulations. We don't have that regular, chill college life. The schedule is quite hectic. Also the attendance criteria is too much to handle, while other colleges demand 75%, NIET demands 85% mandatory attendance. There are some indoor and outdoor sports but Campus is quite small. Too many clubs and societies you can join along with few activities & fests taking place.
Hostel Facilities
This is something I wanted to talk about desperately. If you are thinking of taking on-campus hostel be very clear about the rules. They don't discuss anything beforehand and make new rules every other day. We cannot even stay in our rooms during college timings, No matter how high your attendance %age is, You are not allowed to stay in your room during Class timings. If caught doing so, You will be Fined of rs. 1000 atleast. Keeping that aside,Mess is quite good.
Admission
We can take direct admission with our 12th percentage but if you want to come through counselling with your JEE Percentile, that route is also open. You can get in through AKTU counselling. For Direct admission you can call the College to know the Cut-offs.
