College life is mixture of different experiences

The bad remarks about the college are less. The main remark is that the college does not provide good infrastructure facilities and laboratory equipment was too old so that student cannot gain proper knowledge about updated techniques which is essential for this rapidly growing pharmacy sector. The overall experience was good and this is the best place where I have gained a lot of knowledge.

I wrote an entrance examination to enter this course. I have landed up in this college by attending counseling which is conducted according to rank based system. This is very helpful for the students of plus twelve to get into the institution in which they wanted to enter. There is no interview process for getting admission into the college.

The course I have chosen is very interesting and there is a chance of learning a lot more about the drugs and related substances. The present days scenario of the medical field can be closely observed. There are research initiatives which have been taken place. But I do not know the details of the research. Elective options are negligible.

The internship opportunities are quite good but the college does not specifically concentrate on the internships. Yet it encourages the students who are willing to participate in internships. The college sends the students to different pharmaceutical companies for at least two months to procure internship. The average stipend amount is about ten thousand per month.

The placement scenario was very good. The percentage of students who has got placed in campus recruitments is about sixty percent. This figure may increase for future generation students. The major companies that visited our college are Aurobindo pharmaceuticals, Cipla, Sun Pharma, Hetero. Average package of salary is two lakh fifty thousand per annum for post graduates of pharmacy.

The fee structure is affordable if we get admission through the entrance test. Generally it varies between forty thousand to fifty thousand rupees. But I have entered through management quota. Here fee structure may vary and is charged between sixty thousand rupees to one lakh rupees. Hostel fee is charged between one lakh to two lakh according to the facilities to be provided.

The faculty is highly qualified and experienced. We have few doctorates and enough number of post graduates as teaching faculty. This makes us to learn the subject quickly and easily. The teachers are very friendly. The friendly nature of the teachers help in learning ethical values from them. The standards of teaching are moderate which enables the average student to understand the subject clearly.
