Course Curriculum Overview
I chose Computer Science because it is trending today . Artificial Intelligence and Data Science courses are really emerging now. Faculties are really very friendly . They clear doubts frequently . I think the curriculum can be changed depending on the latest technologies. We usually have 2 unit tests and 2 CAT exams . this is considered for internals.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from 5th semester . For 2024 pass out around 40 to 50 companies visited our campus for placements. Since the market is down now-a-days the package is a bit lower. Majority of campus visits is from startups . They provide more internship opportunity. This year the highest salary package in my department is 10 lakhs. Around 75% students have got placed .
Fees and Financial Aid
FEES: The fees structure is dependent on the application process , namely if your opting for government quota it is around 1,25,000 . It includes Book fee , E-Learning fee and Placement fees too . If it is management quota the fees is 1,50,000. SCHOLARSHIP: I too got scholarship for getting admission through government counseling which is around 5000. Even we can get for first graduate also. CAMPUS RECRUITMENT: EEC provides assured placement for all students. some of them got job with stipend whereas others got direct offer.
Campus Life
Our campus provides a variety of club thereby promoting student involvement in all the clubs . Swagat which is conducted for the freshers is really unique . They can exhibit their individual talent to the college. Symposiums that are conducted by all the departments are really nice. Library: Infrastructure of the library is nice. But it should be updated more. They also have computers inside library . Classroom and Lab infrastructure: Lab infrastructure was a bit unsatisfactory. But now they have brought in new updated systems inside lab . The classrooms are maintained neat and it has a very good environment. Clubs: Recently they have many clubs called the Energy club , Coding Club . I am personally a Backend Lead of our college coding club . This depicts each one can get equal opportunity.
Admission
The admission process to Easwari Engineering College in 2020 was facilitated through Anna University as per my experience. I participated . I personally visited the college to complete the admission process. In my case the cutoff for the year 2020 was 168 and the meeting this requirement was essential. Overall the process was a combination of participating in university level counselling, submitting the documents in person . The process went smooth
