Overall college is good and helpful for all students
Faculty members are also good and supportive
Infrastructure are also nice and course will be designed for below average students also.

Dislikes

Canteen is something to improve and maintenance
Buses are not there in the campus so the campus will provide buses for local students
Make a proper ground for sport activities

Because I am interested in this course and many opportunities in this course. Faculty is professional and student ratio is huge. PhD professors are there and also give chance to teach juniors if anyone in the last semester of m.tech. after every 1 month they will conduct exam as minor 1 then minor 2 and the major exams and all exams are taken by internal.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Google offered the roles like graduate engineer trainee as internship with 20000 stipend. Then Wipro offered the role as permanent as trainee with 4 lpa. We made projects on car parking in Java in a team there are 3 members with one senior faculty member to help.

Placement Experience

In 7th semester students can give interview also 6th semester students can give. Wipro, Accenture, google and many more companies visited in this campus with 11 lpa average offer. More than 70 percent students got placed. After getting the degree I want to job in mnc company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very less and also provide scholarship. Like approx 60000 fees for non hostel students. Scholarship like depends on the students interest and has to qualify the exam. Also help in financial and also helps in placements.

Campus Life

Techfest, robofest are conducted in March or end of the year. There is a big library in the campus. Classrooms are like a professional classrooms. Also interuniversity matchs are held in this campus. Annual fest is held where students can take part in different activities.

Admission

Yes first give the entrance exam, I found the application through from it's website. Actually I don't avail any reservation because our category is general. Admission process is smooth and simple but you have to give exam to eligible..

A well-rounded diploma experience at LPU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course curriculum 4 out of 5 for relevence and comprehensiveness. It focused on core mechanical subjects, practical labs, and workshops, which helped me choose this course. The curriculum prepares student for jobs and higher studies. Exams conducted regularly and are of modern difficult. However, there ia still scope for improvement. More industry exposure, interships, and advanced machine- based training could further enhanced the curriculum. Overall, the course is relevant well-planned, and suitable for sudents aiming for techanical skills and career growth in mechanical engineering

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. Sliet Journals : Must for bigginers

I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
