Course Curriculum Overview
The course is pretty interesting. The workload in the course is lesser as compared to the other core branches. So, you will get a lot of time to pursue what you want to. The faculty is also pretty good and highly qualified. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:40. The examination system here is pretty different the faculty can conduct exams according to the course structure- there is a lot of flexibility for the students as well as the faculty.
Internships Opportunities
Most of the major companies visit the campus for internships like Google, Microsoft, Arcesium, Oracle, Spriklr, etc. In the first phase 1/4th of the batch strength get an internship, rest get the internships in the second phase.
Placement Experience
The placements in our institute happen in the third year, specifically, it start in the middle of the 7th semester. Almost all the major companies visit for the placements. In the last year, overall 85% of students were placed. The highest Package was 1.8Cr and it was a quant. role.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee for a semester is 1 lakh rupees. On top of that, there are other charges for the hostel and mess that sum up to 43k rupees. So a total of 1.43 lakh rupees per semester. There are scholarships for students who can't afford to pay that much fee. It is based on the annual income of the student's family.
Campus Life
The life at the campus is pretty amazing. We have a lot of extracurricular activities apart from the academics. We have three major events during the year. 1. Elan and nVision: Annual Cultural and Tech Fest 2. Milan: Inter-hostel Competitions 3. Diesta: Inter-department competitions
Hostel Facilities
The hostel room is small but we have almost all the facilities in the hostel. The mess food is also very good, with multiple menus and affordable prices. The registration process is simple we need to register on a portal once a month.
Admission
The admission was based on the performance of the JEE Advanced examination. The selection procedure consists of two stages: JEE Mains and JEE Advanced Examination. One has to clear JEE mains first to take the JEE Advanced Examination.
