CVR College of Engg., Rangareddy

The college is very good from academics to other fields too. The infrastructure is also very good and there is an opportunity for development of students in every field mostly.

The college is having a state level examination called EAMCET exclusively for telangana state. I cleared that exam and got a seat in electronics department with a counselling session.

The curriculum strictly follows the prescribed Syllabus of JNTU Hyderabad. The content is very well framed and the materials are also available in both online and offline mode. Practical learning is largely emphasised in our college.

Internships are provided by the college itself. In the breaks after semester they send us for training in various companies after taking a brief examination. The stipend they is on an average of 5000 as said by seniors.

Placements as said at the time of admission are almost sure. As the statistics say last year we had a campus recruitment of around 92%students. The average was 4 lacs per annum.

Events are organised regularly almost every month. Last event we saw was on Embedded Systems Design.

The fee we pay every year is what the fee structure there in most of the colleges. We pay something around 1 lacs 45 thousand every year.

Scholarships are provided on the basis of marks scored in the Semester exams.

Extra curricular activities such as various sports like Football, volleyball, basketball is having its scope here. Also fests and various events are organised too.

Hostels are available in both AC and without AC facilities. They are too disciplined and also the rooms are spacious.

Alumni network is spread over mostly all parts of southern India. Super seniors are called sometimes to address us on various occasions.

Exams use to be very boring. We are having exams on semester basis and the bad thing is the papers are evaluated outside the college.

The faculty members are very hardworking and knowledgeable. They are having a proper understanding of their subjects and are also too much devoted towards their duty. They are mostly well qualified and experienced.
