Here security and freedom both go hand in hand

Dislikes

Quizzes take place frequently and students sometimes feel pressure
Academics are tough and requires so much effort to get passed
Some courses are there which I think should not be in curriculum

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I was interested in engineering and so wanted to pursue my B.tech degree after 12 board. Here all faculty members are quite educated and qualified. Exams are held in two weeks time and it requires hardwork to pass these exams

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Here is good facility for availing scholarships and also good opportunities for campus jobs but currently I am not getting any scholarship. Here, fees are quite high but people of different economic background get fee waiver

Campus Life

Here very extra curricular activities are present for students. Sports have excellent facilities and sports festival also take place here. Here various types of clubs are present which one can join according to one's interest

Admission

My admission was through jossa counseling. I prepared for JEE for two years and finally gave my jee mains and jee advanced in 2023 and got IIT Kanpur. It was a fabulous and hardworking journey that got me here and I am very grateful to my parents and teachers for supporting and encouraging me

Placement Experience:

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. There are many company like TCS, L&T, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, IBM and many more visited our college. If you have CGPA greater than 7 then you are eligible for maximum placement drive. My plan is to get government job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

IITK From Sparsh's Perspective

I choose this college becouse of its flexible acdemic structure and its great Alum connections. Also this is the best college i am getting according to my rank and my interest in mathematics. I have Applied for IIT delhi in electronics. IIT Delhi is also a great college but when it comes to academic focus IIT delhi lacks there. Also there faculty administratation is so strict. if a student wants to start something or he/she has a new iniative for the college , he/she will face hard time. So I couldn't make it to IIT Roper CSE branch because my jee adance rank is not that great for the Roper' Computer science. So the Admission process here at IITK is not difficult. You just the originaly document which you have submitted in your josa counselling portal and you need to verify it once here usually a couple opf hours work. Life @ IITK

I chose IIT Kanpur over othe rcooleges because of its academic reputation, research opportunities and strong alumini network. I was also able to get seats in other IITs but I preferred IIT Kanpur due to its legacy . I didn't face rejections, but did not opt for some colleges even after qualifying due to lower research output, weaker placement stats. Admission process for B.Tech at IITK is through JEE Advanced exam, after qualifying JEE Mains. You also neend to satisfy cutoff for branches. Admissions are handled by JoSAA Counselling....Read More
