Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and faculty members is ok and not bad at all There are specialisation trades like Electrical Industrial control and Electrical Power System . I choose the course because it was intresting to me . The faculty is good ,lots of good teachers are there to help the students, a total of 60 sits in a class for students. teaching method is good . Exam was not that hard ,easy to pass.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Its a Govt. college ,so fees is lesser than the private college. Students can easily apply scholarships like SVMCM, OASIS etc. On an average the job package is 10k to 15k per month by the campus placement. The campusing of this college not that good.

Campus Life

For fressers entry in the college a fressers welcome celebration is held in the campus, and after the odd sem a tech fest is also arrangeed by the students inb the colleg. Biswakarma puja is also held in the campus. there are a big library in the college ..every type of subject books are available in the library. Many classrooms are available for students and also digital class room is also present. The anual sports activities are also held in the campus. blood donation camp is also held in the campus.

Admission

First of all its a Polytechnic college , so the admission process is going through by the JEXPO examination .Minimum rank needed under 5000 for gen. candidates . candidate need to register themselves first in the jexpo portal.. they get the id and other relative informations on that site.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Overall a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing. Badve autotech pvt ltd. A1 fence products pvt. Ltd. Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.
