Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was good. Faculty members were great and very knowledgeable. Some of the members were just Ok but by overall means it was good. Student ratio was female only as in morning its girls college only. Two exams were conducted yearly and it was not difficult to pass if the students are being attentive in class itself.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees was okay and pocket friendly. Scholarship was definitely there but I am not very much aware about it as I did not applied through it. Cost of study was like appropriate and not way to high like many other private colleges. Campus recruitment was there but I did not participated in it as I did not wanted to sit for those companies which were there.

Campus Life

Campus is good and appropriate. Annual fest took place majorly in November month. The college has an amazing and well maintained library having various courses and other books and journals There was old amenities in classroom which I think need to be upgraded

Admission

Admission process was quiet time consuming at that time as it was totally ik manual form. We wer required to submit the form manually and also to make payment through challan. But now it has been upgraded and has provided online facility for everything and has made admission process quiet easy.

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college. A Glimpse of Jaipuria

I applied to other colleges such as Goenka college of commerce, scottish church, maulana azad, and city college but I chose this college because its closer to my home and also it has a pretty good reputation over the curriculum i had chosen.
