- College. One of the best colleges for reasearch purposes almost equipped all the necessary items required for engineering

- Faculty is good.Most of them are good but some of them have very much attitude

- Infrastructure as it is very old Infrastructure not much updated
- Placement being so old and having high rankings in nirf their Placement is average
- Hostels they are not maintained regularly
Course Curriculum Overview
I was intrested in engineering that's why I choose this course. The teacher to student ratio is as 1 teacher teaches approx 90 students in first year. Term exams were on time and they were on medium level.
Internships Opportunities
I have not started internship being a first year only. But from what i have heard there are very opportunities for internships there are several WhatsApp group working on this task only.But their result is not upto mark
Placement Experience
Placements are pretty average considering the position of university that is maily because of the training and placement office of the amu.they do not try hard enough to bring good companies. Percentage of students getting placed is average too approx 80 percent
Fees and Financial Aid
Course fee is same for over a long period of time. Cost to study is one of lowest in india as it is a central university. I am a first year so i have not availed any scholarships yet nor i have gotten into internships
Campus Life
The life on campus is very good infact one of the best with this big university. Everyear on 17th October sir Syed day is celebrated in university with full joy. The university has the biggest library in asia so you probably don't need to worry about books and journal. Most of the classrooms are fully air conditioned but not first year ones,equip with smartboard and sound system. Student have made their own app named amupedia on which there is everything you need to study for first year
Hostel Facilities
Hostels rooms are equipped with electricity wifi connection and fans sasly but there is no air conditioner in rooms. Mess is pretty average as it it is very cheap too.You don't have to register separately for hostels they asks themselves at the time of registration process. Amu has the most affordable hostels
Admission
AMU hold its own entrance exam named AMUEEE. They releses their forms online and you to register it yourself on amu controller site. The criteria for applying is All candidates who have cleared Class XII with at least 50% aggregate marks in the following subjects fulfil AMUEEE eligibility criteria 2024 for BTech and BArch admissions. Subjects are English Physics Chemistry Mathematics. I avail the reservation benefits of the child of alumi quota. Admission process is same as jee mains but they only held exam at university and Lucknow no where else. So it may cause problem who register from far away
