The main reason why I choose this course because I am geniunely very much exicited how engineering can be used in biological fields. I have an option of choosing a branch which is considered better than BSBE but I decided to not opt for that branch only because of my intrest. If I talk about my branch there is around 50 students so faculty student ratio is very good its feels like I'm in school. There is no doubt about the faculty Qualification of faculties who is teaching in IITs but what I feel is that they are not able to deliver what exactly they want Or may be they know that much which is above our understanding limits. So before Exams online sources like youtube and other educational platforms are key to success. Talking about Exams Mid sem and End sem is conducted as per tentative dates and there are also quizes in between the courses which are basically class tests and that are also grades so you have to also score good in that. It is not that hard to pass any course

Here lot of companies visits having a lucarative offers. Compaines from Tech to core all types of companies come here to recruit students with packages ranging from 8lpa to 2 crores. PPO is also offered here.

For a lower middle class fees is little bit on higher side like 2lakh per year only tution fees and top of that around 1lakh per year for you all expences including hostel, mess and other necessities. But There are ample scholarships available which you can avail. MCM is merit cum means scholarship currently which I'm availing . For this your parental income should be less than 5lakh and your CPI should be greater than 6.5. Then you get waiver of 100percent on tution fees and get 11k per year as a pocket money.

IIT kanpur conductes 3 major fests ANTARAGINI the cultural fest, TECHKRITI the technical fest and UDHGOSH the sports fests and excepts that there are many other events going all around the campus. Library is open till 11:59 at night and you have all the books you need and if some book is not there you can request they will make it possible. For issuing book you have to show your ID cards and you can issue as may books you want. Classroom is well equiped with all the facilities which you can think of. You just name the sports that sports will be available here.

For admission in IIT Kanpur is same as other IITs. You have to score more than 75%in your 12th boards and you also have to qualify JEE MAINS to write the paper of JEE ADVANCE and on the basis of your rank in JEE ADV you get your colleges and branch. After JEE ADVANCED result is declared you have to wait for the notification from JOSSA for choice filling where you have to fill your colleges and brach choices. According to your rank and what other people filled choices you are alloted a seat in college. You have to pay 40k amount to JOSAA for confirming your seat from which 36k is adjusted in college fees and 4k is taken by JOSAA. For me I was in EWS category so my rank in EWS is considered which obviously helped me but though I was opener of my branch in EWS category. The system is good but there might be little improvement which can be done. For example If someone misses verification date then he directly gets out. He is not given a warning to submit documents earlier.
