What Students Say
Likes
- Good curriculum with not much assignment work
- Peaceful library with not much students in it at any time.
Dislikes
- Attendance strictness for 1st year students, it's 85%
- For 1st year students, you are now allowed to leave college once you enter. They hardly provide leaves.
Course Curriculum Overview
Believe it or not, our branch have the best curriculum out of all other branches with sincere students. Faculties are well qualified and they are willing to teach you more than you are willing to learn. Some faculties are good in teaching, some are okay. Here an entirely different system is followed as it's an autonomous college. Term/Sessional exam occurs 3 times before End sem exam and they are easy to pass provided you have studied dedicately 1-2 days prior to exam. A set of important questions is shared with students prior to these exams.
Internships Opportunities
- As such no good internship is provided - Unpaid or low paying internships at local startups or mass recuriters are provided. - If you are coming to this college then I would say it's overall a good option provided you are self motivated for your career.
Placement Experience
- 4th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements. - Not much good paying companies come to college, but students get plenty of companies and offers on campus for packages in ?3LPA-?10LPA. - Average package is ?5.5LPA, but for an average coding student it's ?7LPA+ - Mostly mass recruiters come to college like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Cognizant, Capegmini, Infosys, smal local companies, Genpact, Virtusa etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
- For our batch (23-27) fee is 1.75L/yr for 1st year and 1.5L/yr for 2nd, 3rd, 4th year. And you can expect 5-10% hike year by year. - Scholarship for UP students, or for those who have family income less than 5LPA gets scholarship. - Scholarship for those who top branch or college is also available, but that's not equal to even 1/4th of your yearly fee.
Campus Life
- Life here in first year is similar but a little bit better than your school life. For 2nd, 3rd and 4th year it's good. - For 1st year students fests are 1-2 or 0 for entire year. From 2nd year onwards around 4+ fests, events occur annually. - Facilities for sports & extra curricular activities available but mostly for 2nd year onward students. - A plenty of clubs are present but out of those I think hardly 1 is good for Tech and for extra curricular 3-4 clubs are there and they are good. - Infrastructure is Ok-Ok, don't expect much here in terms of infrastructure. Sufficient level of infrastructure is available for coding labs. - In 1st year library is so small that hardly 3 people can comfortably stand inside it. For 2nd year onwards 2 huge libraries are there filled with mostly academic, management, and coding related books. (Self help books are close to zero in library)
