My journey so far as a Mandevian

The course curriculum is very diverse and it's designed in such a way that students get a fair amount of exposure to every domain such as marketing, HR, finance and operations. Coming to the faculty members, they are very supportive and make sure every doubt of the students are addressed.

The internship process has been remarkable in the batch. Companies have visited for recruitment at regular intervals with a wide variety of roles. Most of the internships were paid. Companies include TATA AIG, JIO Creative Labs, Gartner, Dabur etc.

The placement of MDI Murshidabad has been remarkable throughout the year since its existence and the batch of 2021- 23 received an average package of 12.6 LPA. Companies ranging from the BFSI Sector to the Auto Mobile sector. Companies include VE Commercials, ICICI Bank, TATA AIG, Cognizant etc.

The fee structure of MDI Murshidabad is Rs 1450000 which includes the hostel and mess fees. Scholarship: 5 students (2 boys and 3 girls) from the North Eastern states are awarded 100% freeship (only tuition fees) based on the CAT percentile. A particular number of students belonging to the EWS category are awarded 100% free (only on tuition fees) based on the CAT percentile.

Life at the campus is full of fun and learning. MDI Murshidabad has a wide range of clubs and committees which are quite active and there are regular events which are conducted by the clubs and committees. There is a wide range of sports equipment ranging from cricket, volleyball, football, table tennis etc.

MDI Murshidabad has both Single and Double occupancy rooms. Double occupancy rooms come with an attached bathroom (with Gyser) along with it. Food in Ahaar (mess) is quite healthy and it has a wide variety of dishes and separate counters for Veg and Non-veg students. Note: Hostel accommodation is compulsory for this course

My Journey with MDI Murshidabad started way back on 27th November 2022, the day I went to appear for my CAT exam. After the completion of my CAT, I came across the sister campus of MDI Gurgaon which is MDI Murshidabad and came across the overall prolific placement figures and its faculty members who come from a diverse background. Without having a second thought I applied for its residential PGDM course of MDI Murshidabad. I received the call for the PI round in February 2023 and my experience was really good. And within a month I received my final call letter. The fee payment process was quite smooth. Last but not least, the journey from room to campus was very delightful as the college has taken utmost care that every single doubt and challenges faced by the students are addressed as early as possible. Overall it was a journey to remember.

MDI Murshidabad doesn't have a GD round in its admission process. Although it does have a PI round. Students based on the CAT percentile are called for the PI round. PI round is generally taken by the faculty itself.
