I was insterested in automobiles since my childhood that's why I choose the course.In our class there are 86 students and 1 teacher for every subject.The faculty here are well qualified, most of then have a PHD in their respective field. We have 2 exams per semester , midterm and end term exams. The difficulty is moderate.

There are various clubs which provides such opportunities to students and in 7 and 8 semester almost all the students whether or not in the club gets internships somewhere and the curriculum is build in a way allowing them to go outside of campus for internships

The cost of study is relatively high than my other institutions but the facilty we get in return is very good. Also the college facilates scholarships and other financial assistance for the needy.However I did not applied for it so I don't know much.

The social life is great here specially the male to female ratio makes it feel a good college giving equal opportunity to both.There are various technical and non technical clubs here which are a great way of engagement.

I live in a shared room with one roommate. The hostel is decent with option of ac and non ac rooms, water cooler at every floor and 2 lifts in the building.The quality of food of mess is also very good with multiple cuisine option.

Admission process is completely online, you have to appear in Manipal Entrance Test(MET) and course are given in online counselling based upon met rank. The exam was conducted twice in the year.For automobile engineering you don't need a high rank mere 30 to 50 marks in the exam will give you decent rank to opt for automobile engineering where as for the Computer Science and other highly demanded courses you need much higher marks, approx 200 to get admission. Application form is available from december on the official website of the institute.
