Course Curriculum Overview
I have a very deep interest in computer science field so I had chosen this particular course. The faculty here is highly educated, all are qualified from different IITs and some of them were studied from international universities. Also they take reviews of each faculty at the end of every semester. The exams are done on time and the difficulty level is decent.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are very decent. Some of the students got internship from big companies like EY, Amazon, etc. Microsoft also provide internship opportunities in this college and signed many mocs.
Placement Experience
The placement opportunities are decent in college. Placement of chemical and petroleum branch is so good that last year all the students get placed from these branches with highest pakage of 24 lakh and average package of 10 lakh per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in the college I would say quite high according to me. Ofcourse you get many scholarship opportunities like there is a scholarship for meritorious students which is given to the students who are top 1 percent in the brach. Also there are many scholarship you can get.
Campus Life
Our annual fest is KALTARANG which held in the month of February and tech fest is URJOTSAV which held in the month of November. There is a very library where we can get all the course related books and classroom are very well furnished which very good furniture, centralised ac, projectors etc. Sports and extra curricular activities do exists in college with all the important grounds and courts for common games.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms here are quite big with 2 person accommodation. They provide bed, a very big study table, chair, almirah and a storage desk seperately for each student. Mess food is very tasteful and very good in quality. Mess fee is also very affordable.
Admission
I was a JEE aspirant. I qualified both JEE MAINS and JEE ADVANCED in my drop year with my JEE ADV rank 3397. I also got the reservation benefits in cutoff list and according to my rank I got IT branch. The application process of this college is different from JOSAA, it has separate admission process, you have to fill the application form and then the procedure went accordingly. The admission process is very simple and transparent. They help you very well in whole admission process. Also I got reservation benefits in my academic fees. I got relaxation of 25 percent.
