- Campus Life as there are always some or the other events happening which make sure that the students have some activity to engage in
- Faculties here are extremely knowledgeable and better as compared to many other colleges
- Research culture is nurtured here which is extremely important for future studies.
Dislikes
- Party culture is high here which may distract some students
- Teachers are good but sometimes they can be hard to deal with
- Students here can be a little over the top sometimes.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum so far has been great and aligned with industry standards to make sure that the students are equipped for problem solving and industry ready. The teachers are better than what you'd get at a government college. They provide a level of personal attention and always answer doubts. Most teachers are PhD holders and renowned researchers.
Internships Opportunities
KPMG, Microsoft, Deloitte, L&T, Dell are some companies which offer internship opportunities at MIT. Projects range based onn brach and the type of pogram but usually are full length projects which are helpful for resume buiding.
Placement Experience
Placements of the college are decent, not as good as IITs and NITs but they offer a certain level to make sure hat the tag of institute of eminence is kept as the cojmpanies that come here are very sought after. Most students who qualify for placements get placed. Highest packages range from 70-80 lakh to 1 crore.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are on a higher side compared to government college but they provide financial assistance through TFWS scheme. Fees are approx 3 lakh for circuital branches. The infrastrucutre is good enough to compensate for the same.
Campus Life
Campus life is the only thing that stands out about MIT. The campus life here is extremely lively and there are always events happening in and around the campus. Classrooms are AC equippted with charging points.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are decent for first years. The facilities are much better for second years. Life at hostels is extremely comfortable and the caretakers are extremely helpful and friendly and make sure that no issues are faced by the students. The hostels are affordable to some extent
Admission
We had to give the MET entrance exam, the application is available on MIT website and it is a very easy step by step process, the exam is easier as compared to JEE mains and it has pretty decent cutoffs enough for it to provide a competitive atomsphere and ensure that the students in MIT are a cream layer of the crop. There is no reservation except for NRIs. Application dates are tentatively around January. The counselling is very simple and easy to finish and go ahead with.
