Course Curriculum Overview
Chose this course because of experienced faculty and good infrastructure. Manipal Institute Of Technology has a good track record of placements. Student ratio is very good because of the comparatively low student intake. Faculty is very experienced and teaching methods are in line with modern teaching methods. Term exams are at a good level and are not easy to pass.
Internships Opportunities
Student Projects give the students a corporate atmosphere to thrive in. Students are placed in interviews irrespective of their branches. The active alumni community is also helpful for the students to have mentors during the recruitment time.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for placements from 6th semester. Quants like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and Large Tech companies like Microsoft and Qualcomm also recruit students from the college. Mit also provides a good base for masters with a high number of students going to top unis aboard for masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
Considering it is a private university, fees are pretty high, with course fees being 18.5 Lakhs for 4 years. Financial assistance and scholarship is provided for those who need it as it is AICTE certified.
Campus Life
Life at campus is very fun and there are no complaints. Annual fest Revels is a huge event and people from all over the country are present. The tech fest 'Tech Tatva' is a place where experienced people take part in hackathons and people are very skilled in programming. There are a plethora of clubs fulfilling the interests of each and every students. There are plenty of sports facilities in the campus and does not hold back in attending sports competitions.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are pretty good, having an attached washroom in every dorm room is a blessing and reduces the pain of common washrooms. The mess food is really good and hygienic and affordable. AC rooms are present as well.
Admission
Write the MET entrance test, which can be attempted twice. Application form can be found on MIT's official website. Improvement can be made in the examination centres for smoother a smoother exam experience.
