Course Curriculum Overview
I choose civil engineering in iitk due to my interest in core branches ,the faculties of civil engineering is awesome all were qualified a PhD degree with an honourable University or college each faculty have minimum 3 patents on their reasearch exams are quite in simple manner two quizzes one before mid sem one before end sem and the paper are moderate in difficulty level
Internships Opportunities
Internships are offered in third year of your graduation most valuable companies offer the interns many projects are offered and some of the students get placed directly through the intern only which is called ppo pre placement offer .
Placement Experience
From seventh semester students are allowed for campus placement companies like Google Microsoft apple Amazon quant and all other named companies come in the campus placement for offering placement highest package gone upto 4 CR last year and the average package is 19-20 lakh per annum about 95% students get placed each year my plan is to secure a good placement
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is very helpful for all students their are many benefits such as if your family income is less than 5lakh/annum then you should pay 1/3rd of the total fee and if your family income is below 1lakh per annum then your tuition fee is zero which benefits students from poor background and many scholarship also provided like mcm,sps and so on which is explained in detail at the college website
Campus Life
Their are three major fest cultural fest named as antragini, sports fest named as udgosh and the technical fest tech kriti which are held in between oct-nov, August -sep , and Feb- March respectively. Each sports facilities are available like badminton table tennis lawn tennis basketball football hockey cricket kabaddi squash and many more all indoor games also provided at the campus Clubs like media and culture which includes photo film animation music dance and all cultural activities and all technology coding based clubs are also there for explore and learn here all the activities are held by students themselves
Admission
Their are two steps to get in iit First you should give jee mains exam and qualify the cutoff then second step is to give jee advanced paper for get selected in iit Later councelling happens from josaa website which take almost 1 month later you alloted a college with branch and further the process is very simple your senior guide you how to register and all process will be explained in detail
