- the ratio of girls is very low so i was not able to talk to a single girl here
- sometimes the seniers would not respect us even we have done nothing wrong
- the water supply is not that good here as it is our basic need
Course Curriculum Overview
I choosed this coures as i wanted thiS collage i.e IITKANPUR , most of this faculty are the alumin of this collage itself so the know how the students would respond about thier whereabouts whereas the students ration is 1:4 ,the teaching method is fine and there are mit-tems after 2 months of start from the semester and a end-semester exam after 2 months of the mid-term exam.ITs not that hard to pass the exam if you have started studing before 1 week of the paper and attending all the classes.
Internships Opportunities
There are not a lot of internship in the collage but many deserving candidates get the oppurtunities for the internships as my brother in 3year got it in the Adobe. Still the collage is reforming itself to get as many students as possible for the internships.
Placement Experience
As an IIT we get a lots of placement and internships from the collage the placements start from the end of 7th semester. There are a lot of companies that visited this year like TATA, Qualcum, Flipkart ,Amazon Messho, Ford , Strip, and many more.the higest package last year was of 4COROR per anu from Chemical Enginnering Department and the avg was 26Lakh Per anu.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is a government collage the fees are decided on the bassis of the family income and the caste and PwD. For general and good background students have to pay aprox 1.4Lakh per semester, For SC/ST it is aprox 20,000. There are many scolarships present in IITKANPUR curerntly like MCM,INSPIRE,Doner and mNY more
Campus Life
There are three major fest in IITKanpur that are ANTRAGNI organised in November-December , UDGOSH organised in September-October and TECHKRITI in March.There is a library named P.K.Kelkar Library and there are a lot of books and journals available in the library.there are a lot clubs and social groups run by the students . One of the biggest in them is the Students Gym Khana which has the power to throw the administion
Hostel Facilities
The hostales are kind of way too big as there are 800 students living in 1 hostales and there are kind of 14 hostales in the collage.we are provided with beds, studie tables chairs cubberds shelfs fans ,lights , ethercables wifi and many more useful things.The mess if the best thing in IIts as we get food of all around the INDIA with good qualities and different types of meals whole week.The rooms of hostales were already fixed when we paied of the collage seats we just have to fill up a form and the hall office provided as with the room no. and keys.
Admission
the eligibility of this coures are that you should score above 75% marks in 12th BOARD exam. If you are able to procede with it you are eligible to fill out the jee mains form which is available at the website of NTA. If your are able to crack jee mains then you procede with the JEE ADVANCE paper and if you score more marks the the cut off you will be able to get into the collage. The mains and advance form are worth of 500 ruppes. You are given reservation benifits based on the SC/ST and PwD.The current system of the admission if fine i do not want to make any arrangenets in it so far.
