Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this field because I have interest in accounts and finance. Student ratio is equally divided into males and females. The faculty quantification is mixed for example. So aree PhD and some are part timer.

Class Size: 300Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of doing bachelor of commerce course is not much.. one can do this cousre by spending around 25000-30000 .but in case if private college it can go high upto 50000 per semester which is 300000 in 3 year

My college ha s a very big library.it has thousands of books college organises different kinds of activity and sports games..which keeps the students fresh throught the semssters collehe has college union which helps students in many ways

Admission

The eligibility of the course is any studnet passed out 12th from any recognized board of studies form India The application process is completely online.so the application form are available in college/university website only. The improvements I want to see is in the toughness of the bcom course..it should be more tough... so that the value of the degreee increases.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
