Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BTech CSE because of my interest in computers Faculties are good, they teach the subjects well. Student ratio is approx 60:40(male:female) Most of the faculties are graduates who have multiple degrees and they usually teach in depth whatever subject they teach Exams are quite timely and it's moderate to pass, depends on subject.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible to appear for on campus placement drives from 7th semester of their course, or the penultimate semester of their degree term. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Infosys, etc visit the campus, also product based companies like Amazon, yamaha. The placement records suggest a full batch placement at a time Highest package is about 30lakhs to 40 lakhs from btech cse. Average is about 5.5lakhs as of this year About 90%+ students get placed during the on campus placements My plan after degree is to look for a job in a desired company and country
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hike policy is about 10% per year, and the course fee is about 165000/yr(as of 2021 batch) I received a 20% scholarship because of merit performance in boards. Currently I am in 3rd year so I have no internship/job to discuss about stipend
Campus Life
Annual fest that is held is called "JU- rhythm" It's usually hosted during mid feb. The libraries do contain a vast variety of books and journals enough for student in any stream Classrooms are equipped with, good lighting and smart teaching boards There is a lot of extracurricular activities as the college has a number of tech societies and non-tech societies. There's zarurat and ashayein that deal with social context
Hostel Facilities
The hostels have seperate bedrooms for every occupant, every room has lighting, ceiling fan and an air conditioner, also has a bed with mattress and a wooden table and a cupboard Hostels can be registered during the time of admission, hostels are affordable as the convenience are quite good
Admission
The eligibility criteria for B.Tech in Computer Science in JU is 75% aggregate in PCM in 10+2 boards. Also scholarship is available depending on merit in boards or JEE mains. The application form and information regarding the application can be found on JECRC University's official website No reservation benefits The admission was pretty much seamless, only improvement I'll suggest is to make it more online based than hardcopy submissions
