Dislikes
- In this college, there is too much focus on studies and very less in curricular activities.
- Sports is also very less especially for day scholar , which makes students physically inactive
- Too many test and assignment causes headache and feeling of pressure and frustration which not good for mental health
Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted B.Tech CSE because I have interest in science and technology . And also , there is good scope of it in market . Now if I talk about faculty , some faculty are some are very understanding in nature . And some of them support a lot to students . Some faculty members have done M.Sc and some have done PhD in specific subject . Very few faculty members are teaching good .
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of B.Tech CSE in IMS Engineering College is 1 lack 35 thousand for first year and 1 lack 23 thousand for second year . Scholarship is available for students but chances of general caste students getting scholarship is very less . Name of scholarship is UP government scholarship . Fee of college is much more than facilities provided .
Campus Life
Life at IMS Engineering College is is like too tired . There are many assignments and many exams and tests per semester . Students gets too tired because of such hectic schedule , especially those whose travel very far , daily . There are several curricular activities and annual cultural , technical and sports fest such as Vibgyor , Techno Vision , Chakravyuh etç . Dj night is only for hostel students . And few alumni meets are also organised. Books are made available to students from college per semester which are to be returned at the end of semester without fail or you have to pay fine . Classroom are also average . Lab are also fine but needs improvement in devices . Campus Life is too boring without friends and having good friends will help you to enjoy campus Life . There are many clubs like Run time hackers from where you can booste your knowledge which will help you to get more knowledge over your skills, which will help you in getting better placements .
Admission
The admission process of IMS Engineering College is quite simple . There are two ways of admission, first one is direct admission and other is admission through councelling . Direct admission is simple , you just have to check admission timings and month and directly get the admission by giving fees . But I got admitted through Aktu councelling , on basis of JEE mains result . My JEE mains percentile was 61.8 . And I have pursued B.Tech CSE .
