Remarks

College infrastructure is good and located at prime location of Pune.Easy access to public transport. College campus is green and well developed.

Entrance Preview

I have completed my BSc from RYK college, Nashik and then I wanted to go into finance or banking sector, so I took admission in MBA for finance. No interview process while CAT entrance exam given for MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good as it includes all banking and finance subjects. There is much focus on praticals, projects and seminars. College takes research initiative on new Business concepts in market.

Internships Opportunities

No internship scenario I was aware about till now in college. Internship is just in a name and it is 0% in this college. No experience about that.

Placement Experience

Placements are good but students need to try their own for getting better job. There are less opportunities from the college provided. Major companies like Infotech, IBM are visited and salary package is good 4-5 lpa. 30-40% students got placed from campus.

Sinhagad institute organizes every event and it is big.All the festivals got celebrated in this college with including dandiya night and 31st of december.

Fee structure is quite high. For masters degree, the fee is high. I pay 1 lakh 10000 Rs.per year and yes it's not affordable to everyone.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject.
