IMI , Delhi honest review

IMI Delhi offers three courses i.e. PGDM core ,PGDM BFS and PGDM HR. I chose PGDM core because it allowed me to explore all the domains in the first year itself and then gave me choice to choose my major and minor subjects in 2nd year. The college has highly experienced faculty members for all the specializations. There are around 50-60 faculty members for all the specialization. There are six terms in 2 year course and in each term, students have to give quizzes, projects, presentations ,mid terms and end terms. Students will be evaluated on all the components and hence the final score will be evaluated

More than 100 companies visit the campus to provide students with summer internship opportunity. Companies like Delloite , EY , KPMG , Piramal,GEP , Mother dairy visit the campus and roles offered include finance intern , sales intern , marketing roles.

The placement season starts from post mid september. The average package for 2021-23 batch stood at Rs 17.01 Lakhs. Highest package stood at Rs 50 Lakhs. More than 100 companies visit the campus to hire the students. Big brands like Piramal, ICICI bank , Delloite, BMW , Tata Motors and many more visit the campus for the placements.

The fees of the college is Rs 1925100 for the entire course which has to be paid in six instalments. College also provide hostel facility to the students which cost around Rs 300000 per year. College provides opportunities for fee waiver to selected students based on EWS but only 15-20 students get selected.

College provides hostel facilities to the students but there is not enough rooms for the whole batch. Therefore, some students have to reside outside in PGs and flats. College has student- driven culture and there are multiple clubs , committees and societies which organize different events throughout the year . There are many events organized in annual fest 'Kritva' and students from multiple top B- schools compete in the events. College support and encourage students to take part in events of different colleges.

IMI Delhi will shortlist on the basis of your profile which include experience, marks in 10th, 12th and graduation ,diversity and CAT/XAT scores. Students will get interview call accordingly.The admission process does not include GD or WAT like other colleges. Instead, candidates are directly shortlisted for the interview which iclude extempore round. Interviewer will give a random topic and candidate will have to talk about it for some minutes.For this candidates should be well prepared about basics of their graduation and general awareness.
