REVIEW OF SASTRA DEEMED UNIVERSITY BY THIER STUDENT

Faculty student ratio:1:30 Faculty are well qualified and all did PhD and some are having interest in there fields of research. Here there are many research opportunities in every field they want. Every one and half month cia (term exams)will be held There are many reasons for choosing any course based on students interest and they need to have make interest on the course what they got.

Many internship opportunities for the students based on their Desired domain. If they enrolled in any internship they may get stipend. The project did for that internship may considered as final project at the end of the 8th semester in the marks allotted for the internship project will be allotted as semester marks so that the students not be struggled for doing another project for the semester exam.

Students are eligible for getting placement from 3rd year and if they are interested in getting replacement job in 2nd year they need to gain knowledge of the courses in which they need to placed. Many companies like Wipro,tcs, Qualcomm,l&t, Microsoft, Accenture,Amazon etc. Eligible cgpa for campus placements is 7.5 and above.

Fee per semester is about 75000 and there is a 5% annual increase in semester fee. There any many scholarships for students based on there eligibility. Nsp is mostly gained by the students they get financial assistance.

Annual fest are kurukshastra Daksh and colloseum Kurukshastra is cultural event where students can enjoy with dances other cultural activities Daksh is a tech event here we can gain knowledge about different technology Whereas colloseum is sport event There are many clubs tech clubs , cultural clubs etc. Also required books in Library.

Hostel facilities are good. Common bathrooms are best than attached bathrooms. For boys there are single and 3in1 rooms For girls there are no single rooms. Mess food is very convincing for vegetarians as sastra mess provides only vegetarian food. This is somewhat difficult for non vegetarians. Facilities are a study table ,study chair and cart. Registration process for hostel are allowed for students who not within a certain range from campus.

Admission done based on the percentile obtained in jee and IPE marks. Two streams 1. Jee+ IPE. 50% seats 2. Only IPE 50% seats Reservation are there for TN students as well as for Trichy and Thanjavur students. There is no management Kota for this college.
