- There were very rare placements. So, in terms of placement it is not a good choice.
- Less extra-curricular activities. Not everyone was informed about what's happening.
- There was less exposure to practical knowledge, which is a drawback.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chosed this course as a matter of interest. Facilities here, are friendly and quite helping. Most of that have done PhD. We have an yearly program where exams were done every year. At present there is semester system in holkar.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got scholarship of Medhavi that was on the basis of my merit in standard 12th. For this you have to fill out forms by time to time going to their website. As, it is government college with top ranking. Here, fees is quite affordable. Helping cell can help you out time to time..if you reach their on time
Campus Life
There are not much amount of social activities conducted here, it's all about how much participative you are. There is group known as ABVP, if you make contacts with with you will get to know about various activities. Library cards take time to issue. Yes, there were extra curricular activities but to a limited extent.
Admission
For addmission in Government holkar science college, you need to have good grades/percentage in your 12th standard. Application forms come on college website. Their are 2-3 counseling rounds performed for addmissions. Application come around May-June. For sure, there are some improvements needed here, as they call again and again for different formalities such as verification, documents submissions, etc. Other than that, once you start going to college it becomes quite easy and friendly. They do need to give more attention to practical exposure in classes.
