Likes

Course is very well planned and there is little to no academic burden on students
Student projects, technical and nontechnical clubs always keep students engaged
The sports facilities are amazing, from the many gyms in various residential blocks to the outdoor and indoor courts, there's something for everyone.

Dislikes

The hostels for boys are too far from the academic building so it gets tiring to walk continously for a long time .
The food in the canteens is good but the quality of the food served suddenly starts plummeting for a week or so
There are check-in times for hostels so one can't go out of their hostel after a certain time at night. Many colleges don't have this system and its better.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is well structured and curriculum is divided into groups of subjects that are easy to study. The faculty student ratio might be less but the faculty are all doctorates and hence know a lot in detail about the subject matter and course content. Term exams happen twice in one academic year and they are fairly easy

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is fine and fees have to be paid periodically. There are opportunities for scholarships on the basis of merit and also other financial assistance options for economically weaker students. Campus jobs are not very prominent.

Campus Life

There are plenty of fests, events and other small activities that always keep students engaged with each other. The tech fest, Tech Tatva, takes place in November and the cultural fest, Revels, in march. Other events include entrepreneurship event and music events. There are plenty clubs and student projects to choose from to join, and all of them provide an excellent hands on approach to the necessary skills that one will have to learn in their future.

Admission

Admission process was extremely smooth. I gave the entrance exam MET which is specifically for this institution. After 2 attempts I was able to register for the actual admission process and got provisional Admission based on my marks. After paying a deposit amount, my Admission was finalized. the curriculum is practical up to date and the assignments are project based that encourages better understanding. the assignments are also real world based that require ,the students, to undestand the subjects better. there are 3 internal test with lab tests include that test the student's knowledge in the subject

the eligibily might be from 3rd year. There are several companies such as capegemini hitachi patym dmart. 700 offers are offered. Highest is 25 lakh and average is around like 5 lakh. After the completion of my degree i would like to persue higher studies like MS.

Placement stats are pretty good, offers above 50LPA have also been granted to students, but they are not as common. With a good cgpa, 5+ LPA can be ensured. Students from 6th sem become eligible for placements, companies such as TI, Apple, Daimler Trucks etc have come for placements

The 6th,7th and 8th semesters are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visiting campus but it differs every year. The highest package is 7L-8L and the lowest package is 3L. My plan after getting a degree is to get a job in a good company.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. So it is tough as engineering seats in MIT Manipal maybe high but competition to be in top 1000-1200 means competing with nearly 100k students....Read More

MIT Manipal is awesome!

For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch. CSE and AI are taken by top rankers and then mid rankers can take our branch. However, first choice is always with the students. MIT Manipal is super tech savvy!

In MAHE or MIT Manipal the university only accepts their own entrance scored as JEE qualifications and all have very limited seats.
