My experience and Student Life in this university

Faculty members are simple . Some are contractual and some faculty members are guest faculty. No extra curricular activities are organised in this university . Faculty and Student ratio 46:1 . Most of faculties are PhD holder and few are NET qualified . There teaching methods are simple because there is no smart classes in law department . However in other departments have some smart classes. Term exam happens within 6 months .. There is two semester per year , odd and even semester . End semester exam is moderate . if you cover the full syllabus properly, you can easily pass the term examination.

University provide placement offer for some department like b.tech , BBA, BCA, MCA and MBA. Some reputed company visit like Tata , hdfc etc.and some local companies. Highest package 6-7 lakh and average 3 lakh . Time to time placement drive are organised by the university

Semester fee is 9455. You have to submit exam registration fee during end semester exam. If you belong to SC/ST/OBC, there is scholarship provided by MP Government and Central Government and different states scholarship are also available for students .Like UP state scholarship for UP domicile .EWS students can apply CSP Scholarship provided by Central Government. Cost of study in this university are normal because this is a central government university. If You are NET qualifier student then UGC will give you 8k to 18 thousand rupee.

The life in this university campus are not good . There is no proper infrastructure development. Management are not proper working . There is no mess facility in boys hostel . However girls hostel have mess facility. There is hostel facility for both boy and girl seperately. There is one famous fest organized in November months "Gour Jayanti". Some programs are organised time to time . There is a central library . All books are available including journal. Intra University or college game like Cricket and other Sports are Organised University stadium by the university. There are many social group or sports , students, department group .like Class representator, senior representator in every department. NSS group. NCC group . Sports club . Gour Jayanti club run by students ( teacher as a observer)

There is hostel facility for both boy and girl seperately. Around 800 capacity in both girls and boys hostel. Mess facility available for girls hostel but there is no mess facility available for boys hostel. Hostel rooms are well and good . There is fan, two bed, two desk and table and light . Wifi facility available. Washrooms are in simple conditions. Water filter are available for drinking water.histel has ground for cricket, football or basketball. However hostels are not well maintained. Here is normal Garden for taking rest.. one canteen available in every hostel . Hostel fee is around 1600 something for six months . Students can apply online for hostel accommodation . If you are from far area , you can get easily hostel. Double sharing bed room for ug and pg students. And single bed room for PhD scholar.

For taking admission in Dr hari singh gour University , You need to pass class 12th any stream with minimum percentage 45% . Admission through CUET conduct by NTA . You have to choose General test and one language test and Legal studies in CUET. After declared results of CUET exam , you have to fill University form separately in university website. There is offline counseling in this university. 500 above cut off marks for general category in BA-LLB course in first round counseling. There is some reserved seat for ST,SC,OBC ,NCC,NSS and sports quota. There is need to change admission counseling process. Need to online counseling for admission process.
