Remarks

As IHM is one of the most leading institutions for hotel management education so there is nothing to mention much but still I will say that this is the best one among all the other branches.

Entrance Preview

The college conducts an entrance exam on all India basis. After coming to know about this I appeared for the exam and scored well, ended up getting a seat here.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I had chosen is very nice. We are doing Bachelors in hotel management and hospitality. I really find the course very interesting. It is standard and well organised.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided or we can call them training either. Last time the training I did was in NOIDA at Hotel Raddison which was too good.

Placement Experience

Placements are there with many hospitality industries round the nation. Also many companies and organisations have their campus here. The average package is 5 lacs.

College Events

Events are organised in the campus on many occasions. Guest lectures, seminars, and many other such informative events are organised.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure we follow is something around 50 thousand per year only for our tuition fee. Those who opt for hostels need to pay the fee separately for it.

Scholarships are given to the toppers every semester. The college also holds a provision of education loans.

Extra curricular activities remain on peak. We use to have too many competitions, fests,exhibitions, culturals on various occasions.

Alumni network is too diversified. Our seniors are working in good organisations and sometimes they come to address us.

Exams are conducted semester wise every year twice. That is for each year we use to have semesters as well as other internal exams too.

Faculty

The lecturers here play really a vital role. They are very interactive and friendly too. They keep on supporting us in every possible way.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

"College life unfiltered: Honest Review and Insights"

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges,and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...

I learnt a lot from this college and from its surroundings as well ,very supportive and good college.

Placement Experience:

There is no placement after Bsc but there is placement after pursuing BCA ,BCom BBA from the same college,the average package is 3lpa ,the companies visited are asra foundation and tata etc . About 80% of students placed in different companies and all got in internships.

This college was not not my first choice I want to go to ihm bangalore but I didn't get it in first counseling and after in second councelling I got ihm lucknow and when I searched about it was good also it was near to my hometown that's why I choose this college, i didn't got rejection from any college. The admission process starts with the induction round in which those candidates are there who got ranking under 3000 in national exam for hotel management conducted by NCHMCT there is no age limit and the admission process takes only one day and it is in the campus....Read More

My little college

My first preference was this college only and after this The other preferences include IHM Delhi and IHM Mumbai. Since my first preference was this college IHM Lucknow and as soon as I got the confirmation I continued with it. I choose this college because of the popular celebrity chef Ranveer Brar also studied in this college. Since I see him as my mentor I applied for this college. No I did not get a rejection from other colleges since this was the only one college I applied to. To be eligible for taking admission in this college you first need to clear the NCHMCT JEE exam and after the exam you get a rank and based on the cutoff of different colleges you can apply for it. After that it is basic paper work and you can continue your college from there. My rank was 1400 and I was easily able to apply for the college. Even people with 9000 rank are there in this college woth their SC/ST category....Read More
