JIIT NOIDA -SEC 62 - GULLIBLE OR INCREDIBLE

The course curriculum is up to date with proper following of the latest norms of technical education as prescribed by AICTE and great care is taken upon degradation of the curriculum as per the demands of the time and industry. The faculty members are all excellent with most of them being IITians and Foreign universities with numerous number of articles and research papers published under their name. The exams here are quite tough to pass in general and demands hard work and persistence from all the students.

There are multiple internships being provided in the industry through the college the few of them I know about in my branch are in AMD, DRDO, and intel. I don't have any idea of the stipend and monetary terms as I'm in the fist year but do have hard of really good experience in Internships by the seniors.

the students become eligible for placements starting from the 3rd year of college, There are a plethora of companies visiting the campus each year and the placements are remarkably good. The famous Companies visiting the campus each year include Microsoft, Amazon, Atlassian, Adobe, Oracle, TCS, Infosys, etc. The placement stats of this year has so far been excellent with the highest CTC offered of 83 lacs and 2nd highest CTC of 55 lacs with a dn average package of 8-11 lacs. The placement percentage has been 95% approx.

The total fee here costs around 13.5 lacs (only tuition) and annually between 3.5 lacs to 4.0 lacs(increasing year by year).Its quite decent amount if seen through a middle class lens but it still is good and provides better ROI9Return over Investment) as far as the placements and opportunities you get in this college. I don't have any idea of in-campus internships or jobs being provided but the location of the college is right in the heart of the IT sector of Noida so there are plenty of opportunities nearby. The college also helps to provide good opportunities for summer training Internships and industry exposure.

The campus life is quite good in the college considering the numerous number of clubs and societies present in the college regular events are held and organized by the societies to have an interactive and indulging environment in the college the people here are also very energetic. but as far as sports is concerned there is a huge lack of it considering we don't have a big ground for it and only have single volleyball, basketball, and badminton courts. but the good point is that we have two swimming pools one each for Girls and boys as well as 3 gyms, 1 for girls and 2 for boys.

The admission to my institute is solely based upon cut-off with 50% of the admission done based on JEE and the rest 50% of the admissions done based on 12th Board marks. There is an in-personal counseling which is done in phases and further round-wise manner depending upon the seat availability and Cutoff. After the counseling the candidate is either put in a waitlisted category or under provisional waitlist for further branch upgrade according to his/her preference order as filled up in the counseling.
