- Campus here is very lush green ,, clg is situated 28km far from dhanbad city, so one can experience peace and can inhale fresh air. environment in campus is very pure
- Alumini Network of BIT sindri is very very strong. As BIT sindri was established in 1949,, with more than 75 years of college the students passed from here are present in each and every part of india and foreign as well
- Faculty here are really very helpful and cooperative .. They try to provide every possible sort of information they have with them.. All are very well enlighted and here teacher student relations are quite good
Dislikes
- Area out college is not very clean/sustainable ,, as college is near to mining sites
- Mess food : college authority should have the supervision on quality of food provided in hostels as one can only study properly if it has been feed properly
- as there is train facility in campus as fixed timings but travelling to dhanbad city from roadways is really very hectic
Course Curriculum Overview
In my mining departmet, All the working faculty members and non teaching staffs are very cooperative. my department is fully equipped with all modern macherneries/Labs/equipments. Classes are held here at regular intervals and 75 % attendance is mandatory All the proffessors are phd schloars and class strenth is about 60 in numbers smart board/ projectors are used in classroom for better understanding of students and a semster consist of 2 mid sems , one end sem exams , sessional viva and variours assignments and projects.
Internships Opportunities
One can avail intership opportunites right in second year as many comapnies provide intership like tata steel . Many IITs shares platform for student to get enrolled for intership opportuites if a student has softs skill he will get plenty of intership no worries to that
Placement Experience
students in sixth semester onwards are offered to sit in placements ,the total job offfers made in 2022 was 860 offers made by variours companies . total 51 reknowed company visted the campus, the average package is 6.50 lpa and highest package is 45lpa ans=d in 2023 120 plus recruiter participated in campus placements . some names of recruiter are amazon, paytm, cognizant, ACC , Vipro ,Vedanta, Adani ,Reliance, JSW. about 80-90% of the student gets placed here every year. here student also opt for higher studies like college do provide masters degree in the campus

fess structure is according to category for general= student fund fee(6500) +annual fee (9000)+4000{exam fee} for obc= studend fund fee(6500) + annual fee (9000)+4000{exam feee} for st/sc= student fund fee(6500)+ annual fee(1920)+ 4000(exam fee) vairours schloarships and students loans are provided in campus soome private company like tata . ekalyn schloarship is availabe here . campus placements are one of the major aspect of thi college, about 80-90% student in their branch gets placed , many companies visit here like ABG, vedanta,Adani group, l&t,Tata steel,etc
Campus Life
there are more than 10 working clubs in clg campus,, and more than 5 society each club/society helds event /webinars for the enganment and entertainment of studends,, for induction in these clubs there are various rounds of screenings and PIs, recently sports club held one of the biggest sport event named as spardha in wich students and proffesors took part actively and it was a very succesfull program. Our college has a central library fully eqiupped with acadmics books one can issue the book with help of library card and also can visit library on daily basis .libraby is fully equipped with high speed working interent for students.
Hostel Facilities
every students here gets hostel facility ,, hostels are available from 1st year to 4th year,, First/second yr students have 4 member sharing a room and Third/finl year students sinle sharing room. hostel are average for a student for accomodation as clg was built in late 20s century so all the hostel are old but in condition for accomodation, New hostels are being built ranging to all the years . mess food is okay okay u wont get the taste of our home cooked food one can avail hostel facility by filling hostel registration form and covering hostel fee 10k for a year private rooms are available near Main gate of clg
Admission
for addm in BIT sindri one have clear jee mains and on the basis of jee score ,there is jcecb councelling held and cml rank is provided and if ur rank is under college cutoff , u get addmission in this college
