- I like college environment as they have planted lots of trees
- Also i like faculties as they are well educated as well as they are friendly.
- Faculties also help in getting placement by telling about interviews , exams etc.
Dislikes
- I don't like late fee system in college. As before the only give 1 month for fee submitting and after that they charge fine.
- College don't keep their toilets clean, they were very dirty.
- Students who have low attendence were not qualified for class test. I dont like these.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose b.tech course because i want to become software college and SSTC, bhilai is top most college of chhattisgarh for b.tech. here teachers are also student friendly apart from studies they also focus on personality development, and also offer internship.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies offered intership with stipend namely , Capegemini, Cognizart, Accenture, Infosys etc. They give minimum of 25,000 stipend based on students skill. Student can get more stipent based on their skills.
Placement Experience
SSTC organise campus placement. From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement based on student ability. There are lots of companies visited like Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Capegemini etc. Almost 75% student gets placement. My plans after degree is also getting job from reputed company
Fees and Financial Aid
B.tech corse fee is approx Rs. 40,000 per semester including exam fees, library fees etc. Also college offer scholarship for ST, SC , OBC student whose family income is less than Rs. 2,50,000. Scholarship name is POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP. Also college conduct campus placement which offers upto Rs. 7,50,000 package based on student skills.
Campus Life
In SSTC thy conduct annual fest SAMVID and also organize fest on festival like navaratri, Holi etc. There is lots of books in library. Course Books are available in library . Classroom environment is also good. Also they organise Tech fest for engineering Student.
Admission
For admission for b.tech course there is a entrace exam CGPET through which we can take admission. Or if you got good marks on jee mains you are qualified for admission. Or if anyone want to get direct admission they can directly go college and can talk with receptiontist. They tell the full details about admission process.
