The course curriculum is good. The faculty is very helpful, and understanding. I chose this course because I want to be a dentist. The faculty-student ratio is 50. Faculty is Ph.D., MD, MDS qualified. Faculty teaching is from pdf. Timely exams are taken. Very difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is for one compulsory year included in the course. The stipend is less, only 3000 per month. Patients available for interns are fewer. Interns are required to do other work. Behavior towards interns below par

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 200000. The fee structure increases by 15% each year. The scholarship is not available. No financial assistance or campus jobs are available for students. Fees have extra charges added up uninformed and services are low quality.

Social life is good. The annual fest does not happen but there are freshers every year. Books and journals are available in the library. The classroom has a projector and ac. Annual sports week every year in February

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities available on campus. Room has bed table chair cupboard bookshelf available with one window. Meal quality below average. Same fpod every week everyday every year.No changes whatsoever

Admission

The admission process was lengthy. I got to know the college through the internet Course cutoff was 140 in neet. Baba Farid's website has all the application information. The admission process counseling should be fast.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do this degree since I was in 12th class. I wanted to be a doctor either by doing BDS or MBBS. This curriculum of a degree prepares well for the real words so that we can start our own practice, but you have to be willing to learn if you do not learn in your college properly. Then you might have to learn from outside, but it prepares you well for the real life. The exams are held once at the end of every year and the difficulty level of exams is moderate to high, so you have to study very seriously if you want to pass with good marks After the theory exams, they take the practical exams and there is equal mark distribution between theory and practical, and you have to obtain 50% marks for passing

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.D.S alone in itself is not that fruitful due to surge of dentists in India. Although, if one can set private clinic and can run it it's a wonderful career. Certain basic things are limited for MDS students although they can be tought to the BDS students too.

Struggle for the dental students of patiala

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is not well oriented by the officials Things we need to know for doing patients are not well taught bcoz that's is what we need for MDS (post graduation) so they donot teach them now Which is wrong So according to me Clinical stuff and practicals should be more concetrated on instead of theoretical study There need to be a mid term exam conducted likewise in MBBS for better preparation Proper test which are not regularly conducted should be there Teachers need to be hired Posts for teachers are vacant Teaching staff needs to teach students instead of pgs

In the Initial years, you get to have a balance between curricular and extracurricular activities but in the final year, it becomes difficult to manage both as you have to go for patient hunting when sometimes patient flow becomes less.

Remarks:

I have spent some of the most amazing moments of my life in this college. Also this college has made me develop myself into a well known professional and into a well known dentist.
