MBA in Business Analytics from BITS Pilani

I chose MBA in Business Analytics as it is a new age course and I wanted to do MBA and Business Analytics seemed to be a good course. Faculty:student is around 0.3. All the faculties are well qualified and have completed their Phd. Term exams are conducted exact on time. It is fairly difficult to pass.

Lots of companies like E&Y, Tata Capital, VI, Tata Elxsi, etc came to our college to offer internship. The stipend offered varied from Rs. 75000 to 20000. The profiles were in finance, IT and marketing.

The placement process starts in the 3rd semester. There is practice school also in BITS Pilani. Its goal is to train the students on the job and students are sent to various companies for training. Various companies like HSBC, Barclays, Accenture, KPMG etc ahve visited our campus for placements. For Batch of 2022-24, the highest CTC is 27 LPA, the average is 17.36 LPA and median is 17.5 LPA. Profiles offered are marketing, IT, analytics and Finance. Almost half of the batch is already placed. My plan is get placement in a good company.

The fee hike is very moderate i.e. 5% every year. There is opportunity of Teaching Assistantship on campus with a stipend of Rs. 60000 per semester. There are no scholarship for our course. Financial assistant is not there.

There is an annual fest called Oasis and it is conducted in September. The tech fest is Apogee and is held in April. There is a very good collection of books and journals in the library. The classroom are well equipped with projectors and air conditioning. There is a plethora of clubs and activities in the campus. All types of sports are being played in the campus. BITS Pilani is a student run campus.

The hostel facility and meals are very good and hygienic. The quality of food is good and they change the menu also. The registration for hostel was very straight forward. The hostel is value for money.

The admission process of BITS Pilani was very good and smooth. The eligibility for the course was mathematics or statistics at graduation or at 12th class. The application form and other details are available on the website of BITS Pilani. There is no reservation.

There was extempore and interview. Questions wereabout my graduation and work experience. I prepared took coaching from TIME Dehradun for these rounds. There was entrance exam and then after shortlisting interview and extempore.
