Overall college needs to look upon their management department because it is very poor otherwise I see no problem in the college .

No, there is no entrance exam in this college nor there is any kind of interview round in the college. The college took students on the basis of 12th boards exam percentage.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is of 3 years and practical learning is there in the college . Research initiatives are taken up in the college but at a very low grounds.

Internships Opportunities

No, there is no internship offers from college whether it is summer offer or winter offer. No chance of any stipends. Students can apply from outside.

Placement Experience

Placements is okay with the college . Some students get placed through campus placements whether some dont. Approximately 30-40% of students get placed every year.

The fees is affordable and reasonable for all students as this is a government college. The fees total goes to 40,000-45,000 Rs for 3 years course .

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
