Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is also quite great and more than expected. We have quite a tight schedule since nirma follow trimester system instead of semester system so we have end term exam every 3 months. Apart from end term we also also have 1 mid term, 3 quizs and lots of assignment in each trimester. The faculty is also quite experienced. Most of the faculty have corporate experience and holds atleast a PhD.
Internships Opportunities
They are many companies like jp morgan, Tata AIG, jio and many more which come for internships and there are also many opportunities available for live projects. It is necessary for everyone to do internship either from college or from outside.
Placement Experience
The placement is also good. The average package is around 11 lpa. Till now nirma has the record to place all the student from the campus but now as the batch size has increased the chances of students getting placed is not 100%. Opportunity after completion are also other since nirma has good reputation in Gujarat and all over India.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure include 540000 tuition fee for an year + 84000 for hostel yearly+ 55000 for mess yearly + 36000 for books and library and some other expenses. There is also two type of scholarship available. First is merit based and second is family income based. You get 1 lakh yearly if you get eligible for scholarship.
Campus Life
This is best part of Nirma university. I think nirma has one of the best campuses in India. It is full of trees and plants. The hostels are also well maintained and the campus is very beautiful. The library are also great. We have around 26 club and community in management department of nirma. The classroom are same as shown in the movies. I think nirma has one of the best campus life a student can get.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are quite good and well maintained. In nirma there are 4 hostel ( 3 for boys and big one for girls). The girls hostel is best because it is newly constructed and gives the vibe of an hotel. The fee for hostel is 84000 without AC and 125000 with AC. The mess is also quite big. It provides different foods on different days. The usual menu for a day includes roti, salad, dal, chawal, 2 sabji, one drink.
Admission
The admission process was good and quite easy. I gave CAT and scored 87 percentile, which was not enough for IIM's. I good know about Nirma university on internet and checked its review which was quite great. The tuitiin fees is 1070000 and overall 1490000 including all the expenses like hostel and library. If I talk about eligibility nirma accept CAT score which should be at least 80 percentile to get shortlist and there after a interview.
Interview Experience
I did faced the interview after applying for nirma university. The Interview consist of two panelists. The interview, as usual, started with the basic introduction and then about my graduation and some current topics. I prepared for this round from YouTube only since I also prepared for my CAT from YouTube.
