Course Curriculum Overview

So in each semester there is mid semester exams and comprehensive exam also there are tutorial tests every part has its own weightage. Getting good or say decent cgpa in bits is a bit more difficult than from any other institution

So in bits If you are a single degree student then you get a choice in 4th year that wheather you want to take placement in 7th semester or 8th semester.placement percentage is good. Mostly every Student who apply for placement gets it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester fees is currently 245,000 each year it increases by 10 percent mess fees is around 5-6 thousand of each month and hostel fees is 88,000 per year.bits offer scholarship on the basis of merit and also merit cum need scholarship

Campus Life

So in an year there are three fest in bits pilani which are 1) cultural fest (oasis) technical fest (apogee) and sports fest (bossom).there are many clubs and departments in bits and also some NGOs like nirman and NSS

Hostel Facilities

Hostel room is spacious. In first year and second year you get a double room and after that you will get separate rooms.mess food is decent enough and hygiene is properly maintained.In hostel you get facilities like water cooler,gym equipments,some playing area for volleyball/badminton etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 88000 per year

Admission

So basically you have to give an example called bitsat for getting into birla institute of technology. If your 12th physics chemistry maths percentage is more than 75 and you have minimum of 60 percent in all the subjects then only you are eligible to give bitsat.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

The placement of my college are good in electrical and mining branch the placement are very good while in other branch the placement is decent in this college many companies are visited like vedanta etc. many good companies are come here the 60 percent students are placed every year but in mining and ee the placement rate is almost 100 percent my plans after getting degree is to go in very good company with very good placement

Placement Experience:

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

BITS Pilani- A relevant review of Pharmacy

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The admission process of my college includes an eligibility test, BITSAT, the scores of which determine admission into thsi college. I had appeared for the test in PCB subjects instead of PCM. I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy.
