- Campus is so big that someone if someone wants alone space can get it so easily and weather in the campus is so amazing
- Sports facilities are quite good for the students who want to learn a game from the very basics
- Vehicles are allowed in the campus. So you can explore the campus and city with your own vehicle
Dislikes
- Administration is not so active for the sanitation facilities and other facilities in the hostels
- For first year everything is restricted like you can't go outside the hostel without permission. Even you can't go to library after class timings without permission
- Not all but some seniors are not good here. The bully first year students and no one does the complaint
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because my rank is not enough CSE branch and ece is also a tech branch. The average faculty to student ratio in first year is 1 is to 100. If I talk about the qualifications of the professors most of them and PhD graduates with lots of experience and some are Post graduates. The teaching method is same as in other engineering colleges. There are 3 examinations in each term and not much study is required. Whole semester you xan focus on your skills and extra curricular activities and if you study just 2days before the exams you can get above 8 cgpa to be honest.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for this course according to general category without ews is quite descent which 7 to 8 Lakh for 4 years. It's just the tuition fees. Honestly I don't like the fee policy because relaxation in fees is only available for students have family income less than 5lpa and in my case its 5.5lpa So only 50K extra per year can't make me rich. Scholarships are also available but not for general category and other state students. The best part of the fees is the mess charge which is quite low according to the food.
Campus Life
The annual fest of MANIT is Maffick which is coming in next month while the tech fest Tecno was in November. The central library of the college is quite good not the best. One can find novels journals and study material but the major demerit is the quantity of the books.The classroom for first year students are not so high like college but they are just like school classrooms but from the next year you can get classrooms with elevation, ac and other facilities. MANIT is quite good interms of sports and extra curricular activities and also societies are very active in the college. All the societies work under student council so basically everything is managed by the students themselves.
Admission
The candidate must had qualified the jee mains or respective examination.The admission process was quite smooth but servers were very slow. All the information regarding admission was uploaded on official website by the administration. To reduce the rush during admission I prefer to take admission branch wise or some other criteria for classification. The main benefit of reservation is deduction in tuition fee and also reserved seats in higher branches like cut off for general is quite high
