- The mess food is not upto the mark and not even the menu is diverse.
- The hostels are not much clean and shortage of water sometimes.
- The behaviour and interaction of senior students is not satisfactory.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the B-Tech program because it guarantees pacements if you met some requirements. Next I have Computer Science Branch which is the top branch of any and this college. The faculty:student ratio is 1:08 which is too high but you can manage it. The professors are highly qualified and also their assistants are PhD scholars. The mini, mid and exam all are properly timed. It is quite difficult to get good marks to exam but with proper study and planning it can be easily managed.
Internships Opportunities
The companies that provide internship opportunities are Google ans Amazon with very h8gh stipends of about 7 lac on average to majority of students. You can run your own startup and can collaborate with companies to build your own products.
Placement Experience
There are placements starting from 3rd year onwards. Companies that visit are Google, Amazon, Flipkart and Tata etc. The highest package of 2023 was 84 lacs of 4 students in Atlassian Compqny. The percentage of students placed is about 90 percent. My plan is to get a good job or build a startup.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is based on the parent's income and there are 3 slabs less than 1lakh, between 1lakh and 5 lakh and above 5 lakh. The fees is very less as compared to private colleges so you can get good education at low prize. You can get several scholarships like PM Scholarship Programmes and Scholarship at state level.
Campus Life
There are many fests like Technofest in month of November, Maafick in March and several programs like organized by E-cell. There are lots of books in the library and There is also a digital library. There are smart and simple board in all the classes. Projectors are also used to teach. The GYM of NIT Bhopal is top among all the government colleges and a big sports complex is also there. There are many social groups and clubs like IBC, Roobaroo, Quizzers etc.
Hostel Facilities
Therea are 3 seater room for all the first year students and 2 seater room from second year onwards. There are also 2 almirahs and two study tables in each room. The meal is okay not very good neither much diverse. It is easy to register in hostel.
Admission
It is an NIT College so you have to give JEE Mains exam. The application form is filled in NTA to give exam. While the college registration is done on JOSAA. There are reservation benefits but it's your choice to avail them or not. There are some problems in the registration that it is a very long and tedious process. However it is very reliable because it is designed by IIT Professors.
