Remarks

college facilities are overall average they sometimes ignore the needs of the students which students of this college can take care about as they unite against any false policy of management.

Entrance Preview

I took ipu cet 2017. then I appeared for counseling process conducted by University. there are generally three rounds of counseling after the written exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

the course curriculum is decided by the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University itself and it is applicable for all the affiliated colleges of the University in Delhi NCR. it is more theory-oriented that is less emphasis on practicals is given but it's kind of balanced.

Internships Opportunities

It does provide internships but students generally prefer to get there own internships as they can get paid more there.

Placement Experience

3.5

placements are above average. this years highest have been 11 lpa given to 10 students by byju,'s. if you work hard you get placed here. it however completely depends on you and your capabilities and achievements. but college will definitely help you to achieve your goals.

College Events

4

there are different societies on campus such as dance drama photography film society sports society ecell IEEE etc which organizes different events for social grooming of students besides academics. there are annual fests of college as well as university.

Fee Structure And Facilities

fee structure of this college is pretty much feasible and affordable. its INR 1,06,000 for a year and decreases gradually in subsequent years later. but it's affordable. although university has proposed a petition to high Court for a hike in fee.studenta also get scholarships under Delhi government schemes and other government and university schemes.

Fees and Financial Aid

scholarships for Students are available as per the Delhi government norms. you need to check out the college website for further information.

Campus Life

2.5

the gender ratio is good though but it varies with branches. but overall it's safe. the campus is protected by the police security guards and gunmen 24*7. the college provides a safe learning environment. the campus is ragging free and you don't have to worry about bullies. they can get heavily fined or arrested for that. also, seniors are very helpful and they are ready to help you always. you can talk to them and consult them any time.

Alumni/Alumna

the alumni network of the college is strong but interactions with them are very less. so college authorities should organize alumni meets more often.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is kind of hectic. you will feel like your whole semester is spent on exams. although they sometimes held a lot. you just need to have a good relationship with your faculty and should be punctual about submitting your assignments. you will definitely get marks in internal. external exams depend on your abilities completely and some luck as well.

Admission

I first appeared for the Ipu cet exam conducted by guru gobind Singh indraprastha University new Delhi. then I somehow cleared the cutoff and got a rank. university organises three rounds of online counseling and one spot counseling. you will have to fill up your course reference and wait for the orders from university for further admission procedures such as fee payment etc.

Faculty

3

the faculty is well qualified but you may not find experienced teachers here. mostly there will be some 28-34-year-old guy teaching you. But faculty is good here compared to other colleges of this level. most of the faculty members are m.tech or Ph.D. from iits and nits. they are ready to help always and that makes your work a lot easier (exceptions do exist)

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
