Course Curriculum Overview

4

I wanted to get a degree in finance. Finance has always been fascinating and I am good with numbers, That was the reason i chose finance as my major. The faculty:student ratio is roughly 1:30 which I suppose is ideal in the terms of an MBA Degree. All the faculties are PHd in their respective fields and all visiting faculties are well established in the industry giving valuable insights to students bout the current trends. Teaching method varies from teacher to teacher. Some uses traditional approach while others choose Interactive and Discussion type of Approaches thus fostering Extra mental application. Exams are conducted once every 2 months and surprise tests are taken for every subject at random times thus you need to be prepared at each and every moment. If the student is regularly following what is going on in the class, Then it is easy for the student to crack the exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The overall fees goes to around 20 Lacs. The fees is hiked by 15% every year. There were no scholarship at my time. or any financial assistance. The internship i got from college was with 15K stipend.

Campus Life

4

Annual fest is called Manifest. managed by the Symphonia commitee within the college. Availability of book is the best as it is directly operated by Central library of Symbiosis Pune. Classrooms are equipped with AC and Projectors. Every week sport activities are conducted. And extra curricular activities happens every week. There are many social groups and committes run by student namely placeCom, Finomics, Markyosis, OpClava etc which are run by students of respective branches.

Admission

Yiu need to give SNAP Exam for eligibility to the college. At my time the cutoff was around 70 Percentile and above. The Application form can be found online or any symbiosis college website. Theapplication fees was around 5000 and 1000 for specific branches of college applied throughout. No reservartion was availed by me as I am a open cateogory student. The admission process is good but there can be one improvement in the terms of application fees they are charging. In my view its way too high.

Interview Experience

4.5

The admissions process involved the SNAP exam, followed by Group Discussions (GDs), Personal Interviews (PIs), and a Written Test. The GD topics might revolve around current business trends or social issues. To prepare, I had planned to research extensively, brainstorm potential topics with peers, and practice clear and concise communication. Similarly, I anticipate common interview questions about my motivations, strengths, and weaknesses. My prepared answers will highlight my academic background, relevant skills, and genuine interest in the program, supported by research on the faculty and specializations. For the Written Test, practice based on the expected format, whether essay writing or case analysis. Time management and structuring my responses effectively will be crucial. Overall, I'm confident that my preparation will help me shine in these admission rounds.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top.
