Great college experience

Overall this college is quite good, connected to the city, academically sound, economically feasible and the students here are responsible and sincere. Hence BPIT can be considered as a Nice college. However the placement scenario is not so good in this college.

I took admission In Bpit rohini through IPU's CET(Common Entrance Test) for the course of Btech. My Rank was 12048 in 2016 for the course of Btech. I opted bpit because it is very well connected to metro and is located near to my house. Bpit is among the top 5 colleges of the IP university.

IP University's course pattern is quite impressive. The course here is old and not at par with today's scenario in the field of technology. Old conventional theories are still taught to students which are of no use in today's world, however the practical labs are not out-dated, each lab is well equipped with computers and internet connection.

Yes, our college does provide internships but most of the internships are for Computer Science and engineering and Information Technology students.

Most of the placements are from Computer Science and engineering and Information Technology students, companies hiring for Electronics and Electrical engineering are few. However, Electonics and Electrical students can also apply for software related companies if they have relevant skills and interests. Highest package from in campus placement was from Amazon viz. 11 lakh p.a. other companies like IBM took a good share of students at a package ranging from 1.2 lakh p.a. to 2.4lpa. Other companies like cognizant, accenture also came to hire students at a package of 1.2-2.4 lakhs p.a.

Our college holds two major fests first one being Eloquence-Annual literary fest which is held in the month of September to October. Various literary competitions like Debates, group discussions, jams, poetry recitation along with fun activities like face painting, treasure hunt are being organised , previous year eloquence hosted Unerased poetry as the guest of honour in eloquence which made the whole college go mad, unerased poetry performed live in our college and this took this fest to the very next level. students from all over delhi participate in a plethora of events being organized and there is a cash prize for each and every event which attracts more participation and encourages the audience to participate.

Fee Structure for the courses offered by the college is as follows 1)Btech-88.5K per academic year which counts for 3.57lakhs for the entire course 2) MBA- 1.2 lakh per academic year which counts for 2.4 lakh for the entire course 3) BBA-55.5 K per academic year which counts for 1.66 lakh for the entire course. The fee structure of Bpit is quite feasible for the courses like BTECH and MBA but it is quite expensive for tge cours like BBA.

Scholarship schemes are made available for the students belonging to Economically weaker backgrounds. Scholarships are being provided depending upon the financial conditions of the students which are measured by the income proofs of the student's family .50% waiver is common for most of the students and 25% waiver can easily be achieved if an applicant's proofs match with the minimum criteria for the scholarship.

The best thing about bpit is its college life, all the students at bpit are quite cool and helping towards freshers, ragging definitely is a big NO in bpit. Seniors are always there to help and support juniors. The gender ratio is quite good for a Btech college and about 35% of the students are females which counts for a good gender ratio. Students in bpit are cool, and tolerate and accepts differences in culture, color, race, sex without any hesitation .campus is safe for girls and no stranger can enter the college premises.

Bpit have only girls hostel which according to one of my friend is a very comfortable and convenient to live in, each room has two beds, two almirahs, two study tables and two chairs along with fans and tube lights. The hostel is well equipped with wifi, 24X7 water, and electricity supply. This hostel is very safe for girls because of the strict security arrangements made by the college authorities to keep the hostel safe. The hostel has a well-organized structure with three floors and a lift inside the hostel .there is a separate lobby, a fridge, kitchen, two big washrooms on each floor .washing machines, refrigerators and water coolers are some of the necessary things provided by the hostel.

Seniors are very cool in our college as they always help us out in assignments and to get a brief overview of the subjects. Alumni network is not so strong but if you are in contact with the alumni, they will surely help you out in getting internships and placements. Many times Various Alumni come to college to take society auditions and helps the societies to run properly.

Exam structure is quite cool for the courses like BBA and MBA. However, it is quite hectic for BTech students. Each academic year is divided into 2 semesters leaving 4 semesters in total for BBA and MBA students.

First of all you have to give IPU'S CET , after that your rank will deciede your admission criteria. Generally students having CET rank in between 6000-12000 can easily get admission in this college provided they are from delhi region as every college in ipu had 85% of their seats reserved for delhi candidates. After the result , ip university will release its cut off list and it will be posted on ip's official website. There are three cit-off lists which would be released and after each cut-off , you have to arrange your coirse preferences in the online admission form , after that yiu will be alloted the seat according to your preference and Rank, once alloted you can block that seat or else wait for the next cut-off if you dont get your desired college.

Each faculty in Bhagwan Parshuram Institute Of Technology Rohini is ex-Dtu faculty having a great teaching experience in both theory and Practical. Teachers are regular, sincere and kind towards the students and we can always contact our teachers whenever we want to. There are the seperate teachers for theory and the practical which helps us in getting better practical knowledge along with a good grip on the theory of the subject.
