Remarks

HBTI is one of the top college in UTTAR PRADESH. IT requires some special attention over its infrastructure as campus Placement is affecting. College management required to pay some special attention.

Entrance Preview

I took UPSEE and get 816 rank in general category. As HBTI is one of the top most college, so I decided to take admission in IT Branch at HBTI Kanpur.

As HBTI Kanpur is autonomous institute, so course structure is good.

Internships Opportunities

As far as internship is concerned, HBTI Allows us to do interns in college itself. We don't need to go at any company.

Placement is very good, that's why HBTI is one of the top college of INDIA. Almost every student got placed. Some of the students also got double campus placement. Many software companies like AMAZON, MICROSOFT, ADOBE, IBM, SAMSUNG, MEDIA TECH, INFOSYS, TCS, SAPIENT ETC AND LNT, MUSIGMA, PEPSI, NESTLE, UB GROUPS, GMR, TATA MOTORS, MARUTI, HERO, HONDA, And other companies. No company is allowed that will give CTC less than 3. 5 lac.

Many technical festival are organized department wise. Many other college students also take parts in it. Two major cultural festival TAAL and ODYSEE.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Apart from 1st year and 2nd year all hostel are single sitter. Fees once paid at the time of registration. Best part is that student manages the mess and decide the menu.

Campus life is very good. No one forgets all 4 year of campus. Extracurricular activities and sports competition also took place branch wise. Annual athletic meet organized in February. Every branch has its technical festival.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Our college offer good placement it has average placement of 11 Lpa. Highest package of 52 lpa in Google. I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

All About the HBTU throught the lens of a first year student.

The other colleges which i applied to were IET Lucknow , IIIT Una , IIIT Dharwad and other lower IIITs . I choose over those since this colleges reputation and placements spoke for itself they had a very good track record regarding this course and many famous companies have been coming here repeatedly. The admission in this college is through HBTU e-counselling site which is a standalone website managed by HBTU itself . It has a registration fees of 2500 rupees is non refundable . There you fill your choice of courses . The branch is alloted according to your JEE MAINS rank and your preference list . After the seat allotment letter you have to visit college and there you will have to submit your documents then you will be given a provisional admission letter and you are given a choice to upgrade your branch to the courses you have selected in your preference list. The admission in this college for UG is given through only JEE MAINS for engineering and all other branches leaving Biotechonlogy and Biochemical where you can get admission through CUET....Read More

I only applied on josaa counselling and then in HBTU. My rank was not good enough to get a confirm seat in any core branch . Then I opted for HBTU counselling which was providing better seat in that rank if compared .Then onwards I didn't apply in any of the college. To get admission in HBTU Kanpur, you can register in the college counselling and fill the desired seats.
