A learning curve

College teaching staff is helpful but management have some flaws here and there which needs to be fixed.

I applied for AIEEE 2011 in which i secured 255 marks. But was not getting any decent college nearby, due to my long medical history my parents were not willing to send to any other city & suggested me to take admission in SHIATS (SAM Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture,Technology& Sciences). Which is a well reknown institute in the whole Uttar Pradesh (UP).

The course structure is adequate & with very good scope for research as there's a separate department for research.

Yes our college provide internship with a general stipend of 8,000 Rs/ month.there are different companies like AREVA T&D India Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra, HCL, Wipro etc. that offers internship at general stipend of 1,0000 rs /month.

13 students were placed in various companies like ERA group, Mahindra & Mahindra (Swaraj division), Sefar Filtrations (India) Pvt. Ltd.The maximum package was of 8 lakhs and the average package was of 4lakhs. There are number of companies that come for campus placement in our college are hcl, wipro, hp, infosys, ranbaxy, cipla,Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., Reliance retail, ITC ,cordlife etc.

Our college celebrates anual tech & culturural fests.In which students from different colleges participates.These fests include different competition like gaming, robotics, dance, fashion shows,battle of bands,singing,face painting etc. During the time of the fests the college becomes a hub of the city.

The fee structure of our college is feasible with respect to the facilities provided and taking other colleges in consideration also.

Our college provide 50% scholarship for those students who secure 70% marks in exams.I m also a beneficiary of this scholarship.

In our campus there are huge number of students from different states of india( sikkim,bihar,odisha,tamil nadu,punjab etc).and fair amount of students from different countries like afganistan,lybia,dubai,nigeria. The number of male and female students are almost equal.In extracurricular our college is one of the best in our city.There are several music band, dance groups who have earned good reputation at state level competitions.In field of sports we are dominant in football,volleyball,basketball our student have done really well at different level of competitions. Taking about fests our college organize annual tech fest,cultural fest etc.During these times it becomes hub of the city so many students of different cultures ,religion participate and put their best efforts it's really amazing to see.

The hostel facilities of our college is very good ,the rooms are very spacious ,clean,have proper electricity and backup generator facility is also available,the rooms are available in many different options single seater,double seater,triple seater at

Seniors are really very helpful they offer some really good advice every time we interact with them they share their experiences which comes in handy in our college life.

The Teachers of our college are well qualified and put great efforts to make students understand some of the teachers are from prestigious institution like (IIT,MNNIT,BITS) and are master of their fields some have them are gold medalist in their subjects.
