All about Deen Dayal Upadhayaya Gorakhpur University

Overall I can say it's a quite favourable environment for self-motivated students. As this B.tech course was newly introduced by DDU GKP it's not well facilitated but its growth is exponential and it might attain a great position in 5 or 10 years. As compared to other private institutions like KIPM or Budha I preferred this because of the scholarship offered but if your primary goal is attaining a job after 4 years you can prefer the institution Neraby GIDA. Now coming back to the faculty: the student ratio was 1:120. As I have already mentioned if you are self-motivated you can crack it. You can attain your goal very easily as you have a lot of time over here to sharpen your skills.If you rely on the teacher it will lead you towards hell. The exams are quite easy to crack you can easily attain a score of 7 CGPA or Above just by studying a day before exams(Make sure you memorize all PYQ).

The fee was similar for every branch,i.e. 50000/sem. I should clear one thing there are only 4 branches CSE /IT /ECE/ ME, overall there are 300 seats available per year. The cost of studying in 4 years was approximately 4 lakh rs(50000 per sem * 8 semester). There are no campus jobs, you need to sharpen your skills at a great level to appear in off-campus Placements. There are no on-campus placements. UP scholarship provides a scholarship of 53000 every year for General and OBC and a scholarship of 117000 to the SC and ST students.

There is no annual or tech fest conducted at DDU GKP. As there is no such pressure of studying you can explore your passion over here you will have a lot of time working on your skill. As for clubs, there are various clubs like the Coding club(PRAVAAH) dancing singing drama etc. Classes are small no such facilities available but there are smart boards in every class. The library was a small one you can only get course books in the library. No such extracurricular activities in DDU GKP

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya GKP University offers various UG and PG programs including B.Tech. The basic eligibility criteria for admission are: You must have passed the final examination of 10+2 or its equivalent examination with PCM or PCMB as applied in your case for admission in the First semester. For admissions in the second year (Lateral Entry) in the third semester, candidates must have passed a 3/4 year Diploma with a minimum score of 60% from the institution recognised by the U.P. Board of Technical Education in any branch except agricultural engineering Now as for my case, My admission was based on the Rank list Prepared by the IET Department of DDU GKP. The rank list was prepared based on the DDUGU entrance exam. If you are unable to take the exam you can also secure a seat from AKTU Counselling.
